Martial Arts Team   RSS
Baruch College Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS) instructor led Baruch Martial Arts students to victory last month in New York State's first annual martial arts championships. The championship was held on October 27th at SUNY Farmingdale in Long Island, where Martial Arts experts came from far and wide to view and compete against fifty participants.

Gregory Munna, Gregory Krivsheyev, Julius Smith, Gabriel Williams, and Chris Liguz accompanied Sifu Donald Tampubolon, Baruch CAPS Instructor, to the tournament. The five Baruch students won multiple first and second place awards in fighting and self-defense, paving their way to the National Championships.

The instructor, Sifu Donald Tampubolon has taught Self Defense at Baruch Continuing and Professional Studies for one and a half years. He holds a black belt in six disciplines of martial arts and is ranked by Black Belt Magazine among the top twenty-five fighters in the world.
